The Most Instagrammable Places in Los Angeles

It's time for the 3rd city in the Most Instagrammable Series! And of course, it has to be LA. Growing up in San Diego meant LA trips were constant. In high school specifically, I would go to LA so often that sometimes it felt like I lived there, so I kinda considered it a second hometown.

It is no secret that The City of Angels is Instagram Mecca. Everything is pretty much worthy of your feed. Whether it be the palm tree lined streets, the sunshine flooded beaches, or your gorgeous meal that looks too good to eat, everything looks great in photos.

This list is not by any means all of the best places (that could be a website in itself), just a few of my favorites.

Andaz West Hollywood

Take me back to my favorite place #vsco #vscocam

This hotel is one of my favorite places in the world. Not only is it beautiful but it also has so much history; rock and roll history, to be exact. It used to be called the Continental Hyatt House aka The Riot House. During the 60's, 70's and 80's, it was filled to the brim with rock stars and groupies. It's since been renovated and under new management but the rock vibes are still there. The view from the rooms of The Sunset Strip or The Hollywood Hills are so picturesque and perfect for Instagram. Very very LA.

Made In LA Wall

LA is one of the only places in the world where a wall can become as famous as a celebrity. Since this wall was painted, it has been so popular on Insta. It's fun and cute and comes out so great in pictures. If you are trying to find it, it's at 8025 Melrose Ave!

Chateau Marmont

"If you must get in trouble, do it at the Chateau Marmont." p.s. I totally didn't pose. jk

Technically, you aren't supposed to take pictures at the Chateau, but you can definitely sneak some. This Hollywood classic is perched on top of a hill right off of Sunset Blvd and it is heaven. Not only is it beautiful, historical and fancy, it's also one of the biggest celebrity hideouts in all of LA. The first time I went here, Charlize Theron was just leaving the restaurant and I nearly knocked over Gwyneth Paltrow on the way to the valet stand. Yes, that is a true story.

Any View Of The Hollywood Sign

You can't take a trip to LA without seeing the Hollywood sign. There are so many incredible views of it and it's kind of a necessity on your feed.

Urban Light at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art)

Shenanigans at midnight ✨ #latergram

I'm sure you've seen photos all over Instagram of LACMA. The whole museum is amazing, but obviously the stand out is Urban Lights. And if you want to visit it, you don't even have to go into the actual museum to see it. Although it looks great during the day, I would recommend going late at night. Anything past midnight means you will be able to get some incredible pictures without a bunch of people in them. So go out to a nice dinner and then head here!

Urth Caffe Melrose

Urth Caffe is another LA classic and a celeb hotspot. The food is great, breakfast or lunch. Jaye and I came to breakfast here when we were in LA in April and he loved it too. They have an extensive menu, so there is something for everyone. Also, all of their food is so pretty that it just asks to be photographed, so perfect for Instagram!

Blacktop Coffee

Pretty food tastes better 💕 #vsco #vscocam #kinfolk #livefolk #downinthecity

Blacktop is my favorite coffee shop in all of LA. It has great coffee, amazing food and everything is pretty enough to take 100 pictures of. All of their food is a work of art, especially the avocado toast. It's also in the Arts District, which if you've never been to, I would highly recommend.

American Horror Story Murder House

If you are an American Horror Story fan, I would not miss this. Yes, the Murder House is a real place. Although, there were not real murders there. At one point this house was available to rent on Airbnb but I'm not sure about that now. Regardless, you have to see it. If you want to visit, the address is 1120 Westchester Place.
