Paramore - After Laughter

Paramore is back!!!!! Finally! Paramore is a band that I've been listening to for nearly 10 years and their music has definitely changed since back in the emo days of 2007. But it's not a bad change.

The band went through quite a big change when they came back after a 4 year album break in 2013, to come back with their self titled "Paramore" album. This album was much more pop and upbeat than any of their past albums and that was really the start of the Paramore resurrection.

Now to "Hard Times". The album was released a little over a week ago and let me just tell you, it sounds nothing like 2007 Paramore. But, it's still amazing! Think of it as a new wave pop version of Paramore. If you like bands like Two Door Cinema Club and St. Lucia, I think you will really enjoy this album. Obviously the band is still fronted by Hayley Williams which is about the only thing that makes you recognize that it's Paramore.

Also another BIG shocker is that drummer Zac Farro is back in the band after a 7 year break. And bassist Jeremy Davis left the band a couple of years ago. It's no secret that there has definitely been a lot of movement with the members of the band throughout it's history. But I think the current members (Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro) are really trying to rebrand Paramore and they sound awesome!
