Monday Muse - Nicole Richie

Definition : A person or personified force who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist.

I have been a huge fan of Nichole Richie for years. Even back in the day when the Simple Life was still airing. I was probably way too young to be watching it in the first place but I loved it. I think that is where some of my first obsessions with Hollywood and celebrities started. Although back then, I wouldn't considered her a muse, I definitely do now.

First of all, one reason I find her a true muse is because of her evolution. Go on Google and search up 'Nicole Richie 2003' and see how different her style and overall being is from today. Nicole has said in interviews before that although she had fun, back then were some of the craziest times in her life. She was unhealthy, doing drugs, drinking heavily and she was very prominent is the young Hollywood scene alongside Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. But since then, she has drastically changed her lifestyle.

Today, Nicole is living a much healthier lifestyle. First off, she is a girl boss! Which you know I love! She has her own fashion accessory brand labeled House of Harlow 1960. And let me tell you, her stuff is to dieeee for! The brand has so much of her personal style which is a mix of boho and edginess.

Apart from her fashion business, Nicole also stars on a few TV shows and even has her own called Candidly Nicole. Nicole is married to Joel Madden (another reason I love her) who is part of one of my favorite bands of all time, Good Charlotte. They have two children together, Harlow and Sparrow (coolest names ever) and even the kids have killer style just like their parents.

The main reason I love Nicole's style so much is because she mixes edgy and boho. One day she will have a flowy and flowery maxi dress and the next, she will be in a leather jacket with some Converse on. If I had all of the money in the world, I would dress like she does. She makes no apologies and she looks so fabulous.

I believe that fashion is the ultimate form of self expression therefore it really depends on my mood.
