Sticking To Your New Years Resolutions


March is officially over and that means it's time for a quarterly new years resolution check in! Yeah... did you forget you made some resolutions 3 months ago? If you did, this is time to start working on those again, starting now! 

At the end of 2017, I made 3 resolutions for myself; focus on being more healthy, read more, and become more organized. 

Here's how I've done so far:


Let me start out by saying, I have not been doing amazing at this resolution so far. If you have seen one of my last post, I baked some cookies (but at least they were vegan!) My diet has not been very good and neither has my workout schedule. But this is something I want to work on for the rest of the year. This is why it's so good to have quarterly check-ins with yourself about your goals. Despite not having the best diet and exercise plan, I have been drinking a lot more water and putting a lot more effort into my skincare and that has been paying off.


This is the resolution that has gone the best for me so far! In the past 3 months I have finished 5 books and I'm really happy with that. If you read the New Year, Better Me post, you will know that I made it a goal to read at least a book a month. Having passed that mark for the year so far, it feels great and I want to keep it going! Also, I've been trying to mix fun reads with business and entrepreneurial books, so it's been a good balance.


By nature, I am not an extremely organized person but I really want to be. I've been trying really hard to be more organized and procrastinate less. And let me tell you, January and February were not my shining moments of organization, but March was wayyyy better. I started writing down more lists, tried to keep to some blogging routines and even submitted my final university project a week early! If that doesn't say personal progression, I don't know what does. 

If you were looking for a sign, this is it! Trust me, I know how hard it can be to stick to your goals, but if you are passionate about something and want it badly enough, you will do everything in your power to accomplish them.
